Farmers Weekly Tractor Knitting Pattern
Since our Certification Manager “won” a dog-eared copy of a decades old knitting pattern found at the bottom of a draw in the Farmers Weekly newsroom, we’ve been inundated with requests for copies. Apparently you just can’t find a good tractor knitting pattern anywhere – and lots of people want one, it seems!
With the kind permission of the Farmers Weekly editorial team, we have been sending out scanned copies of the pattern in PDF format to anyone who requested it.
The regularity of the requests is making that process a bit time-consuming so, to make things more simple, we have now created this page to allow anyone who wants the pattern to grab it for themselves.
Help yourself
The pattern is split into two pages/files for download. We’ve kept them both quite large (over 3MB each) so that they will print in decent quality, ready for those long nights of knitting! Click on the links below to download the files in Adobe PDF format.
Each link will open a new window. If you get a dialogue box, select where on your computer your would like to save the file and click ‘okay’ or ‘continue’ or whatever word your machine chooses to indicate the affirmative
If the file itself opens in a new browser window, right-clicking on it and selecting ‘save’ (or similar) should achieve the same thing. Beyond this, we can’t really help you with technical support!
If you really want to know more…
The story of how we came to possess this pattern and how it took on a life of its own, is recounted in the Organic Farmers & Growers blog. This entry is where it all started.
