OF&G Technical Consultant, Gabrielle Lanceley
Gabrielle is an experienced food technologist and scientist. She has worked with OF&G as an inspector, technical advisor and trainer for almost five years.
Born in Uganda, she has worked in the food industry for almost 30 years, including time in Papua New Guinea, Germany and Italy, as well as the UK.
Gabrielle has a first degree in Food Technology, a Master’s degree in Food Analysis, is a Defra-approved organic processing inspector, an ISO-9000 lead assessor and a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science & Technology.
She is also a member of the Technical Committee that reports to Defra's Advisory Committee on Organic Standards (ACOS). The ACOS Technical Committee makes recommendations on technical aspects of the organic regulations.
