Avian Flu - Advice and Information
Organic Farmers & Growers is not an expert advisory body on the scientific aspects of this, or indeed any other disease. As an organisation, its concern is primarily for the protection of the organic standards and to keep its licensees in touch with the requirements of maintaining these standards or acting to comply with legal requirements, should these change in the face of special measures aimed at tackling the disease.
With this in mind, OF&G has compiled guidance to poultry producers on how to proceed currently. This information will be updated as and when required.
