Trial crops make a healthy start
No sooner is one of our organic cereals events completed than work on the next begins. As you would expect, the trial crops have to be timed appropriately and the class of 2015 are already showing plenty of promise.
Our research and development supremo, Steven Jacobs, has been down to our host John Pawsey’s Shimpling Park Farm, near Bury St Edmunds, to see how the winter crop trials are coming along and found the shoots were putting in an appearance only a week and a half after going into the ground.
